Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. The short version
ElectroHub collects as little as possible: an optional account (name, email) and your study progress. No ads, no selling of data, no tracking across other sites.
2. What we collect
- Account details — if you sign in: your name, email address and (for Google sign-in) profile photo, handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Study progress— saved parts, pages read, quiz history, weak spots and mock-test results. This lives in your browser's local storage; when you are signed in it is also stored in our database (Google Cloud Firestore) linked to your account so it can follow you across devices.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security and reliability.
3. What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad trackers.
- No selling or renting your data to anyone.
- No reading of your data beyond operating the service.
4. Where your data lives
Authentication and the progress database are provided by Google Firebase; hosting by Vercel. Both process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Your choices
- Use ElectroHub without an account — progress then stays only on your device.
- Delete your account from the profile page; this removes your account and its synced progress from our database.
- Clear your browser's site data to remove locally stored progress.
- Email vijetbhat66@gmail.com for any data request we can help with.
6. Children
ElectroHub is intended for diploma and engineering students. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
